Dr. Anindita Rao is a licensed psychologist in New York (023580) and Assistant Professor at Pace University. 

At Pace University, Dr. Rao teaches at both the undergraduate and doctoral levels. She is core faculty for the School-Clinical PsyD and School Ph.D. doctoral programs. Her research interests aim to reduce disparities for youth from marginalized backgrounds and immigrant families in school and community settings. 

Dr. Rao is trained in Clinical Psychology and School Psychology. She has experience providing psychotherapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults and has worked in hospitals, private practice, clinics, and schools. 

Her approach when working with children and their families is a collaborative one. Dr. Rao’s empathic stance and attention to culture are evident in both her therapy and assessment services.
